Now highly sought after as a concert artist and pedagogue worldwide, Judicaël Perroy began his international career after winning the First Prize of the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America International Competition and Convention in 1997. The resulting tour of the United States and Canada, was only the beginning of what is now an extensive career. With numerous appearances in Europe and Asia, he is a highly regarded audience favourite and regular returning artist.
In great demand as a teacher, he is regularly invited to give master classes at the top conservatories and universities around the world. His students continue to win numerous top prizes in national and international competitions around the globe, while emerging as mature and rising stars of classical guitar in the international music scene.
Judicaël Perroy currently resides in Paris while he enjoys teaching at Lille’s ESMD (École Supérieure Musique et Danse Hauts-de-France- Lille) Nord-Pas-de-Calais a position he has held since 2010. He taught at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music for 3 years where he took over the position held by Sergio Assad. In 2020 he was invited to replace Dušan Bogdanović at the Haute École de Musique Genéve where he is now principally active as a teacher.
